Work for a company that values and appreciates its employees! Concierge Home Care is currently looking to hire PRN Occupational Therapists to work in VOLUSIA FLAGLER COUNTY and surrounding areas. PALM COAST/ORMOND BEACH AREAS
Job Responsibilities include:
- Develops and revises an Occupational Therapy Treatment Plan based on client assessment & information provided through collaboration with the physician & other agency personnel.
- Observes, records, and reports to the physician and appropriate Agency personnel, the patient’s reaction to treatment, and any changes to the patient’s condition.
- Applies appropriate occupational therapy procedures to achieve identified goals such as therapeutic exercises and treatments, Perceptual and cognitive training, Functional Training, and activities of daily living, Prosthetic, and orthotic training for upper extremities.
- Assists the physician, patient, and the family in the selection of, and instructs the patient in, the care and use of adaptive equipment and makes recommendations concerning environmental adaptation.
- Interprets to the family and the patient the patient’s total Occupational Therapy Program including treatment, goals, frequency, duration of visits, and the necessity for ongoing assessment.
- Provides occupational therapy under the Medicare Program within the scope of covered services as outlined in the Medicare Manual.
Job Qualifications include:
- Knowledge of Department of Health regulations
- At least one year of home care and supervisory experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Florida
