Opportunity
Our Fortune 500 Client is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Lenexa, KS. The selected candidate will start by doing very basic lab duties such as general cleaning, check logging system, automation loading, and inventory. This position will generally support and work as a team with more senior technicians. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, first shift.
Responsibilities
- Daily Temp Checks/Fyrite ? Incubators/Freezers/ Refrigerators
- Check Logger system
- General Stocking including Storage Room and Laboratories
- 2X Receiving table Check
- Lab Cleaning (on Rotation)
- Join BSC/Incubator cleaning team
- Formulation Kitchen Inventory (Track/Stock)
- Stericycle (no signatory permission) ? gathering in labs and taking back to storage area
- Retention sample storage and tracking
- Dishes
- Vicell Regent Pack Refill
- Nova reagent pack Disposal
- Nova pack/cassette replacement
- Daily pH, osmometer, scale calibrations
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have entry level scientific skills and will need basic training
- Some experience in the lab or on a production line
Benefits
- Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour ($30K to $34K annually), commensurate with experience

- 1-year contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire
