Overview

The DWS Americas Product Division is responsible for creation of a unified product strategy and implementation of all investment solutions in the region. As a critical member of this team, you will collaborate with all key stakeholders in the region to develop and implement investment solutions. You will identify potential areas of improvement and be responsible for product governance and recommending and implementing solutions that bring efficiency to the platform. Your focus will be on liquid actively managed mutual fund solutions and separately managed accounts across equities and fixed income. In this role, you will work with various DWS stakeholders across all teams in the Americas including senior management, portfolio managers, sales team, operations, finance, legal and compliance to develop and implement new product concepts and improve processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management; lead multiple projects impacting all asset classes in the Americas (development of concepts, reporting, meeting notes, project plans, timelines, issues escalation, & resolution)

  • Specifically focus on retail product development for mutual funds and separate accounts

  • Leverage the resources and experience of other Product Division team members located in the Americas to determine areas where we can improve efficiency and streamline process

  • Management of the product management pipeline and report on the status of new initiatives

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials for new offerings

  • Prepare materials, templates, and obtain various internal approvals

Your Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree is required; previous relevant experience in an investment-related or product development/project management role; organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to manage priorities, and deliver projects on time in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Ideally experience with registered 40 act funds and asset class expertise in either equities or fixed income

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); fluency in English

  • Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team member and passion for “going the extra mile” to deliver world-leading solutions for our clients

  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of teams and individuals and to influence outcomes
