Physician Assistant PA-C
Busy Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant to join our busy Primary & Urgent Care practice for a part time position. The Physician Assistant needs to have practical experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Primary & Urgent Care settings.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Secures and evaluates medical health and developmental history of patients in ALL age groups.
- Assists with the implementation of the policy and procedure program.
- Writes and executes orders in accordance with legal, ethical, state and facility standards.
- Administers medication and treatments safely and as prescribed.
- Performs various procedures including sutures, wound management in Urgent Care setting
- performing x-rays and DOT physicals is preferred
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation from an approved Physician Assistant program.
- Emergency/ Urgent Care experience
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Valid DEA License
