Hillcrest Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. We are a growing two doctor, AAHA accredited, full-service small animal practice in Pleasant Hill, CA. We provide compassionate care and high-quality medical, surgical, dental and wellness health care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents. We are looking for compassionate and amazing people to join our practice.
Hillcrest hospital has been in the community for over 30 years and is known as “The Hospital with the Family Touch”. This position is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a team that truly cares about each other, our clients, and all of the patients we care for.
Veterinary Assistants and Receptionist provide compassionate care for our patients and their owners. They assist with patient care and client education in addition to creating a pleasant experience for clients and their pets.
Candidates will have a strong desire for learning and continual self-improvement, and passion for veterinary medicine. Excellent phone and people skills, animal handling, with gentle low stress handling techniques. A positive attitude, good work ethics, patience are required for all candidates.
The position will be full time or part-time, comprised of 5 days per week, up to 8 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays as a part of the regular schedule. Pay is based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, CE, and scrub allowance.
