We are seeking an Operations Manager II. This position is contingent on contract award (July 2021) and would require 1 individual located in Kaneohe, HI (Additional locations, Gulfport, MS, JEB little Creek, VA, Cheetham Annex, VA)

Looking for a challenging and rewarding position supporting our armed forces, then look no further. This position is a support facility that is centrally managed by a Government Owned – Contractor Operated facility in the Dallas – Ft. Worth area. This support location will report up to the head location and provide critical support to Navy Fleet units. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to run this state-of-art distribution facility.

Mandatory Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree – any field (Management a plus)

· At least five (5) years of experience managing facilities of similar size and scope.

· Demonstrated experience leading/directing large engineering and/or logistics projects.

· Experience with provisioning instructions.

· Experience with inventory management and conducting of inventory audits.

· Experience ensuring quality assurance/control on inventory functions, preventative maintenance of equipment.

· Experience managing large shipping & receiving services using both commercial carriers and the Defense Transportation System.

· Experience supporting preparations for facility inspections and audits.

The following qualifications are PREFERRED:

· Experience supporting Navy distribution facilities that include packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T) functions.

· Experience leading a small diverse workforce.

· Experience leading a small to medium-sized distribution center between 2,000 sqft and 55,000 sqft that is centrally managed from a remote location.

· Display strong oral and written communication skills including technical writing experience

· Possess familiarity with computers and a working knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office®
