Radiology Scheduler/Intake Clerk – Weirton Medical Center – Weirton, WV

Receives patients for Radiology examinations and special procedures. Verifies ID and all appropriate patient demographics and information. Checks orders in the RIS system and tracks patients.

High School Graduate or GED equivalent including courses taken in typing, record keeping. Additional courses taken in medical terminology desirable but not required. Must be able to pass an alphanumeric test with at least 3,000 keystrokes per hour with no more than a 5% error rate.

Office experience required; minimum six months. Medical office experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
