ServiceMaster of Tacoma is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill full-time water restoration technician positions.
What does a Water Restoration Technician do? As a Water Tech you will be one of the first people on site after an emergency water damage situation. (Examples: a water line broke and flooded the house, a tree came through the roof during a rain storm, or a flood washed through a home.) Your team will be responsible for assessing the damage, creating a plan of attack, and communicating with the customer and project manager to ensure the work gets done right. Our goal is to get the customer’s life back to normal as quickly and efficiently as possible, and you’re one of the key people to make that happen!
What you will do:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Inspect jobs & create a plan of attack.
- Document the job & work done.
- Operate tools and machinery necessary to get the job done.
- Remove damaged goods from the home (furniture, flooring, drywall, etc).

What we require:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to enter data into computers or tablets.
- Must have a valid Washington State drivers license with a good record.
- Must be comfortable with confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
- Available for an on-call shift, in addition to your standard 40 hour week.
Helpful, but not required:
- Experience in the construction, restoration, or property insurance industry
