Claims Admin – TEMP – Masco – Novi, MI

TEMP Opportunity – 9 months to 1 year assignment (selected candidates will be assigned to an agency partner)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for all aspects of claim handling for files assigned to them and for working within the organization to mitigate potential risk throughout the company.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages incoming subrogation claims, including opening new claims in JDE, creating and maintaining electronic claim files
• Fields incoming phone calls and correspondence with claimants
• Performs other related duties as needed and assigned

PROJECTS

• Assists with other projects as needed and assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience Processing Claim Admin or Customer Service
• Intermediate computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
• Property damage claims experience
