HR/Office Manager

Human Resource Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and manage a human resources function ensuring that HR Services are strongly aligned with and drives organizational objectives
  • Lead and manage the full recruitment process including, creating and posting job listings, source, screen resumes and candidates, reference checking, background checks, preparing and extending offers
  • Create and manage the new hire onboarding process.
  • Establish strong partnering relationships with cross-functional management. Understanding the inter-dependencies of business unit plans and functions, anticipates issues, and works collaboratively to resolution
  • Provide leadership strong analyses of HR metrics for effective planning, reporting, and decision making
  • Partner with team members to support an employee experience that makes them feel energized and empowered
  • Lead the sourcing, hiring, development, and retention while ensuring a pipeline of talent.
  • Develop and oversee job evaluations and annual review programs including tracking review dates and bonuses. Collaboratively create development plans and coach individuals in achieving them
  • Direct, recommend and proactively communicates appropriate implementation of HR policies, practices and initiatives
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance including but not limited to: equal employment opportunity, wage and hour, and work authorization; staying abreast of pending and new legislation
  • Together with the leadership team, build and drive an employee culture of engagement; promote and lead others to ensure a positive work environment that supports the organization’s high-performance culture.
  • Manage employee data
  • Assist and possibly manage Payroll and 401k
  • Review and approve employee expense reports
  • Help to create a fun and unique workplace while ensuring we stay compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Field any HR issues and work directly with management and/or upper management to resolve appropriately

Office Manager Responsibilities

· Order supplies including ordering equipment for new hires

· Track and manage fleet vehicles

· Manage company phones and hotspots

· Coordinate vehicle repairs

· Receive and sort mail

· Review and approve bills

· Package and mail supplies

· Organize and file paid bills

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct Human Resources and Administrative experience demonstrating growth in ownership and responsibilities
  • Proactive in anticipating needs; and develop and execute strategies and plans to address.
  • Measurable success in partnering with executive team to lead organizational growth and efficiencies
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Work closely with and be able to take direction from department heads to help them achieve their goals in developing their individual teams’ overall success.
  • Ability to keep all sensitive material confidential
  • Ability to work well with others, learn and grow from mistakes and be a part of the overall team’s success
  • Skilled at developing and implementing processes and procedures
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office

Bonus Points:

  • PHR, or SHRM-CP certifications are highly desirable
  • ADP experience
  • Experienced with multi-state and CO jurisdictional employment laws and legal standards
  • Cares about the environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 – $76,000.00 per year
