Central Restaurant Products, Inc. headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, is a national leader in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. Through our catalogs and web site, we sell and distribute merchandise to various restaurants, government entities, schools, bars and caterers throughout the US. We sell everything from walk-in refrigeration units to salt and pepper shakers.
We are looking for two Warehouse Associates to perform a variety of warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and put away, material movement including loading and unloading semi-trailer trucks, packing, picking and cycle counting. Operates a variety of equipment including order picker, stand-up reach, dock truck and stock picker.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years warehouse experience in a distribution center performing pick/pack/shipping/receiving.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Required Skills:
- Must be able to work M – F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Must be able to pay attention to details when picking & packing orders
- Above average attendance record
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to meet production standards and deadlines
- Computer literate – ability to operate a keyboard, enter data and navigate within system to locate information
- Will be required to become forklift certified
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow good safety practices and procedures
- Good housekeeping practices
