- Generate new business sales and retention of existing agency business by telephone or in person
- Place customers in appropriate market using company guidelines
- Complete sales of insurance products by qualifying applicants, following leads, soliciting business, counseling customers concerning coverage or policy changes, quoting insurance rates, and navigating company computer systems successfully to process new insurance applications accurately
Position requirements in consideration for employment:
- Currently have or be willing to obtain the required licenses to sell insurance
- Maintain licenses to sell Property & Casualty Insurance in West Virginia and Virginia
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Goal driven to meet or exceed the required average contacts per day
- A Non-compete will be required to be signed
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus, but not required
