Medical Office Coordinator – Twin Boro Physical Therapy – Edison, NJ

Twin Boro Physical Therapy is looking for a qualified medical office manager in our Edison location. You will be responsible for day-to-day operation, maintaining medical and staff records. As a medical office manager, you should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and must have a personable, friendly, and compassionate personality. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.

Responsibilities

  • Request for authorization and reauthorization for Commercial, Work Comp, and MVA patients utilizing the appropriate supporting documents
  • Daily follow up on authorization requests
  • Patient benefit and eligibility verification
  • Run daily and weekly reports to manage the authorization work flow
  • Scan all necessary documents and paperwork
  • Manage all office daily statistical information
  • Answer phones and work with Therapist on documentation requirements
  • Schedule patients and help manage patient flow
  • Supervise office staff
  • Liaise with doctors, nurses and insurance companies
  • Provide informative material for patients
  • Generate inventory records
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a medical office manager

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
