Position Overview

The RN is a professional nurse specially trained in the Hospice concept to provide for the personal, physical, emotional and social needs of the patient/family unit. He/she is responsible for patient care activities; providing advice, support and assistance to the team members as needed and for ongoing patient/family evaluation and assessment. The RN is an active participant in the Hospice program including community education.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred with experience in Hospice, medical/surgical, oncology or geriatrics.
  • A current RN license in the State of Florida or Alabama depending on position location
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Florida or Alabama Driver’s License and current Auto Liability Insurance

Starting rate: $46,447.84/year
