Integrative Life Center is seeking an experienced Masters Level Therapist who is mature minded, flexible, and brings a loving, positive attitude to our expert Clinical Team. We are a privately-owned facility located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by rich culture and artistic heritage. Treatment at ILC is about transformation – transforming your life by engaging in a recovery program that focuses on healing mind, body, and spirit. We believe that treating the whole self is the key to sustaining a healthy and productive life. The path to recovery is not easy, which is why we offer personalized, trauma-informed care that addresses specific needs. We provide a full continuum of care which includes Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and commuter programming. We use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing along with experiential therapies such as adventure-based ropes course work, sweat lodges, breathwork and psychodrama.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field
- Licensed (or license eligible and actively pursuing licensure) as a professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in private practice or treatment center setting (no exceptions)
- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Experience treating clients with Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of a variety of models and theories of addiction, eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and related issues
- Knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies and outcomes of models of treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations
- Understanding of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
- Understanding of diverse cultures and gender specific issues and ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into practice setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently
- Must comply with drug-free workplace guidelines
