QA Automation Lead (8+ years) (Banking) required in Bridgeport, CT – Nivasoft, Inc. – Bridgeport, CT

Our Client provides software and services to Insurance, Healthcare & Financial Services firms. These include application development and integration, digital engagement, core application implementation & management, customer communications management, quality assurance & testing and cloud-enabled IT operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The candidate’s everyday responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.

· Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, implementing best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

· Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.

· Coordinate test creation with a cross functional team of product owners, architects, and full stack developers

· Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).

· Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.

· Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies

· The QA Automation Lead is responsible for maintaining, updating, and executing automated tests that are developed by our partner vendor.

· Works with business stakeholders to identify and understand enhancements necessary to develop new and or modify existing automated test scripts ensuring smoke and regression automated suits of tests are current and accurate.

· Coordinates the execution of smoke and regression test suites in various test environments.

· Gathers, analyzes, and verifies automated test results and evidence and, when necessary, create bugs based on such analysis and evidence; all to expedite the testing lifecycle.

· Works with the QA team to develop best practices around the testing lifecycle with automation execution and result distribution the central focus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· 8 years of experience as a QA Automation

· Banking Sector experience is required

· Experience in API Testing preferred

· Experience in Automation preferred

· Able to develop framework from Scratch.

· Working knowledge of SOAP UI, Jira, Confluence, GitLab or similar tools
