Clinical Technician
Clinical Technician (CNA/Certified Nursing Assistant) provides direct patient care under the direction of a nurse.
A CNA performs tasks necessary for unit operations, such as entering timely and accurate documentation into the electronic medical record and Reports pertinent patient changes and/or clinical findings to primary care partner. In this position, you must be able to perform, assist, reinforce and deliver excellent patient care and demonstrates ability to manage a multiple patient care assignment based on unit acuity and staffing levels. Specifically, the Clinical Technician at Express Admit will be responsible for collecting and documenting medication histories on patients arriving to the Emergency Department.
The Clinical Technician must be able to manage a multiple patient care assignment and receive report from primary care partner and completes assignments in a timely and organized manner. Above all, this position serves to exceed the expectations of patients and all other customers we serve.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
- Must satisfy one of the following,

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the current State of Florida licensure from a CNA program that is recognized by the US Department of Education. -
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with current valid Florida Licensure and work experience required. -
RN student that has completed nursing fundamentals or caring scholar course and continually be actively enrolled in an RN Nursing program
