The Opportunity
Sonepar USA is currently seeking a Web Designer for our Marketing team. The Web Designer will design, create, and maintain our corporate website and our company e-commerce websites. The candidate will facilitate our companies’ many digital marketing initiatives and be highly proficient in creating content utilizing a CMS platform. This position will work with internal and external marketing teams, and with graphic designers, to create and produce a variety of landing pages as part of marketing campaigns. Ensuring deadlines are met and corporate and professional quality standards are followed is a necessity
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute responsive landing pages as part of marketing campaigns, creating positive user experiences
- Review and optimize existing content on websites including copy, imagery, SEO keywords and metadata
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments as well as external stakeholders to generate internal and customer-facing sales and solutions web pages
- Drive revenue through product promotional pages
- Support our vendor partner digital marketing initiatives
- Educate team members on industry standards and best practices for site design and user experience
- Execute website personalization and product recommendation programs

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- 5+ years’ experience designing and building websites, specifically using CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related assets
- Advanced knowledge of SEM and SEO best practices
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud competency
- Google Ads and Google Analytics Certifications a plus
- Working knowledge of Jade a plus
- Strong understanding of web design trends, techniques, and current online concepts and strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Proven ability to excel in a deadline-intensive environment
