Job Summary:
Under supervision of the Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Assistant will provide admin support to the day-to-day operations of the marketing department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with content writing for the website and all of KDM Engineering social media platforms.
- Copywriting, editing, research, interviews, and content preparation.
- Maintain the KDM Engineering brand.
- Assist in drafting and designing of postings, presentations, marketing automation-based communication, signage, and mailings to employees.
- Continuous website and blog management.
- Some experience in Digital Content Creation/Strategy
- Support the marketing team in other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Education:
Pursuing or recently obtained a BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or other discipline or working towards it.
Competencies:
- Technical writing experience a major plus
- Experience with videography and photography: photoshop and video editing
- Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Writing and proofing skills are also required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills
- Organized, dependable and detail-oriented
- Team player with a cooperative spirit
- Quick learner and efficient
- High sense of urgency
- Able to work well under pressure
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to comply with all pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification, education and employment verification and background screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
