We are a medical office opening soon in Athens, Alabama. Our mission is to provide medical expertise and solutions to problems in Infectious Disease and in General Medicine in the Huntsville Metropolitan Area and other surrounding communities. Our services include general consultations in Infectious Disease and in Internal/General Medicine, Antibiotic and Immunoglobulins Infusion therapy, Wound Care, Travel medicine, etc. Our job is to provide patients with the most compassionate care in an atmosphere of trust and academic excellence.
We are recruiting for the following positions:
1 Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties/Responsibilities
Implement physicians’ orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ conditions.
Assess and evaluate patients’ needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Requirements
a)Duly active RN or LPN license for the State of Alabama
b)2+ years’ experience as RN or LPN preferred but willing to consider new Graduate eager to learn
c)Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs
d)Be able to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their colleagues within often stressful medical treatment settings.
e)Possess strong analytical, interpersonal and technical skills
