Salt and Board, a locally owned wine bar and charcuterie restaurant and tap house is seeking a FOH manager or entry level General Manager. Candidate would be highly qualified manager with relative prior experience in a high volume setting. Comfortable in a high volume establishment and able to capitalize on opportunities for continued sales growth. Seeking candidate with great personality, professional appearance and good attitude. Must be responsible and trustworthy with strong and effective communication skills. Good decision making and problem solving on the fly are a must. Strong attention to detail in all aspects of the job are key. Must be able to maintain a fun and positive attitude that would be contagious to guests and fellow staff members. Strong bonus potential.
Candidate will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience.

3 years or more of current and verifiable management experience in a casual but upscale restaurant
Energetic and dynamic attitude
Ability to eat a rack of ribs in under 5min (not required but we’d be impressed)

Responsibilities:
Oversee guest services and resolve issues
Ensure a high quality of food preparation
Train and manage kitchen personnel
Maintain food cost, weekly inventories
Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Previous experience in food service or other related fields
