Morris Family Home Care Agency remains focused on our mission is provide excellent home care services that will improve consumer’s daily lives and prevent them from entering a nursing home. We provide services such as companionship, personal assistant services (PAS), and other non-medical services that contribute to a consumer living more comfortably in their home. We are currently seeking caring, passionate, and dependable caregivers to help service the Erie area.
A direct care worker (DCW) is an individual employed by Morris Family Home Care Agency to provide home care services to a consumer. Direct Care Workers will undertake a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, personal assistance services (PAS) and companionship services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Personal Care
– Meal Preparation
– Bathing Assistance
– Dressing Assistance
– Light Housekeeping
– Medication Reminders
– Reporting & Documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
– Must be a U.S citizen
– Must be a minimum of (18) years of age or older
– Possess a valid Social Security number
– Must possess a high school diploma or GED
– Must have a minimum (1) year experience in customer service
– Must receive a negative TB test result from a nurse
– Must be able to pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance as required by Pennsylvania regulation for Home Care Agencies
– Must be able to pass required competency training by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and required hands-on training for consumers in need of Personal Assistance Services
– Must be able to lift a minimum of (25) pounds
SKILLS

– Strong documentation skills

Pay: $10.00 per hour
