Cornerstone Healthcare Services is seeking to hire qualified Nursing Assistants/Nurse Aides (CNA) to join our team in the Durham/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. The perfect candidate will be assisting patients with daily living tasks and have previous Home Health experience and knowledge of the sector. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform/provide care or tasks specific to the client’s needs as indicated on the Plan of Care.
- Provide/assist with Assisted Daily Living activities (ADLs), including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, feeding, and housekeeping.
- Perform incidental household services that are essential to the client’s care at home.
- Assist with ambulation/transfers.
- Assist clients with self-administration of medications (medication reminders).
- Record and report changes/vital information in the client’s condition, family situation, or needs to the health care practitioner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current state certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Previous experience in patient care or other related fields.
- Be listed on the Nurses Registry with NO substantial findings.
- Be able to pass a criminal background and drug test.
- Current CPR certification and TB results/Chest x-ray.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Have excellent and verifiable work references with contact information.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Able to work either Full-time or Part-time based on the needs of the company.
