KVC Hospitals in Hays, KS, offers psychiatric residential treatment services for children and adolescents in a safe, secure and child-friendly environment. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to assess clients for medical health needs and work as a collaborative member of the treatment team. Base pay starts at $26 per hour, depending on education and experience, plus differentials.
Our Registered Nurse will transcribe and administer medications, attend to minor injuries or accidents and assist physicians and staff as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Determine the need for medical attention
- Assess and document information on clients
- Communicate with case managers or adults in charge of the client’s physical health
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.
Experience: Three to six months related experience
