Lead Unmanned Aircraft System Trainer
As the Lead Flight Trainer (LFT) of unmanned aircraft systems you will be responsible for managing the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training activities including instruction, standardization and compliance with Federal UAS regulations along with developing the training program to ensure harmony and effective training operations. The LFT will be responsible for building rapport and collaboration with the team as well as the customer. The training cycle is variable based on demand and growth. As an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Specialist/Flight Instructor, you will perform the following duties
Job Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a professional, cohesive team environment leading to efficient and effective training.
- Execute concurrent simultaneous phases of training in support of multiple programs both internally and for the customer
- Refine and develop training materials
- Ensure Pilots are teaching standardized procedures.
- Conduct after action reports on training for continued improvement.

- Broad knowledge of training techniques.
- Proven experience of delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Proven ability to effectively manage, lead and motivate a team.
- Project management and customer service skills to manage multiple priorities in a complex challenging environment.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentations skills.
- Broad knowledge of training and development concepts and trends. Ability to apply knowledge to meet organization needs, improve operations and achieve business success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience in training.
- 5+ years of technical adult learning and education program experience.
- A demonstrated interest and understanding of aviation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% annually.
- Ability to lift 35 to 75 pounds.
