Organ Transplant Specialist – Crozer Keystone Health System – Chester, PA

Summary:

The Organ Transplant Specialist, RN is an integral member of the Transplant Team and office. He/she works in coordination with the transplant physicians to assure quality care of kidney transplant candidates throughout the transplant process.

Core responsibilities include:

Coordination of care for kidney transplant candidates in the office.

Functions as a clinician, educator, investigator, and consultant.

Contributes to excellence in patient care as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team.

Possess strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, broad clinical knowledge base of disease processes.

Possess excellent people skills to establish relationships with patients, families, peers and providers,

Ability to multi-task. Requires organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Education:

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required.

Required: Current RN License to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Required CCTC – Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator within 2 years of hire.

Preferred: General Experience in a Transplant program.

40 hours week

M-F 8:30a-5:30pm/with on call rotation evening and weekends
