Director, Operations – reveleer – California

Reveleer is a fast-growing technology-enabled services company that powers performance/quality measurement and risk adjustment solutions in healthcare. Specifically, Reveleer supports health insurance plans and Managed Care Organizations nationwide, leveraging software and other technology tools to accelerate their Risk Adjustment and Quality programs. We are currently seeking a Director, Operations for our Glendale, CA office. In this position, you will guide managers and staff to ensure exceptional execution of medical record retrieval, intake, and Quality Assurance. The main objective of this role is to maximize both the velocity of throughput and quality of medical records to Reveleer’s clinical operations for our Client’s reporting and audit projects. The Director will report to the Vice President of Operations and will collaborate closely with other senior leaders for critical work including product ideation, services pricing, client contracting, and account management

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement chart collection and intake strategies, develop/enhance operating infrastructure and technology, command all function metrics and analytics to offer clear visibility into project progress and outputs, and perform key project analysis and summary for Reveleer senior leadership client post-project debrief
  • Serve as a critical player in the interface with other Reveleer functions: with the Product team to relay technology feedback as a key user and shape product enhancements, with the Customer Success team, with the Finance team to ensure the integrity of project billing as well as project resource allocation
  • Launch and close HEDIS, Risk, IVA, and ACA RADV projects for clients
  • Lead all chart retrieval and associated activities including outbound contact with medical provider offices, retrieval-intake-QA team coordination/hand-offs, tracking staff utilization, training, etc.
  • Work with leadership to design project and enterprise forecasts as well as work plans to meet set targets
  • Establish and review project and company metrics: input, process, output and outcome project statistics
  • Continuously refine policy, process, procedure through process engineering and maintaining a coherent feedback loop; Lead process and workflow design to improve customer experience, documentation, quality management and reporting
  • Create organizational principles and standards for operations in partnership with Legal & Compliance teams to ensure operations are compliant with regulatory and quality requirements
  • Define human and technology resource requirements needed to achieve project success
  • Monitor performance of team output and outcomes through data analytics and visualizations using Reveleer’s Business Intelligence tools and leveraging the Operational Analytics team
  • Design retrieval innovation and technology experiments to maintain a posture of continuous improvement
  • Improve the overall customer experience through personnel training such as customer service training, sales training, phones training, etc.
  • Set and maintain culture and energy to optimize team dynamics
  • Team with Vice President to creatively reduce operating cost and increase margin through introducing new technologies, AI, machine learning into business process
  • Implement those solutions—proactively identify roadblocks and develop alternative solutions, create, and measure relevant success metrics and targets, manage team process and cadence.
  • Coach and develop team members and direct reports; build strategic rigor as a habit with business partners
  • Surface data, process, and tech issues through proactive monitoring of operations
  • Identify trends and provide strategic insight, lead continuous improvement, and drive automation across all teams.

About You:

  • 5 – 7+ years’ relevant experience in administration or operations
  • Significant knowledge of Health Plan Risk and Quality program management and successful track record of delivering on healthcare industry programs
  • Strong familiarity with value-based care
  • Passion for healthcare industry and/or apply data/technology for health policy
  • Understanding of contact center operations involving healthcare provider/hospital/doctor’s offices a major plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven track record of successful team management
  • Strong problem-solving skills to develop solutions to complex and multi-disciplined issues
  • Ability to apply data-driven principles to project management
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with all functional support
