What You Will Do
As an Associate with Saint Thomas Health Svcs-TN, you will have the opportunity to
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
- Prepare orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):- Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
- One or more of the following:
- Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
- Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
Education:

Diploma
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Technical degree required
