University HealthCare Alliance has a Patient Services Representative I opportunity located in Oakland, CA. University HealthCare Alliance (UHA) is a medical foundation affiliated with Stanford Health Care.
The Patient Services Representative I performs duties associated with patient check-in and patient check out; and appointment scheduling, including patient registration. The incumbent will manage patient care effectively utilizing the electronic medical record system.

REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a medical office, insurance, or client services environment.
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and strong customer service skills.
PREFERRED:
Graduate of a Medical Receptionist training program or experience in an ambulatory care, or other healthcare related setting.
