United States Armored Company has a rare opportunity for the right people to join our unique team.
This Company Driver position requires the ability to obtain a Government Clearance and an Armed Guard License. We transport specialized high value commodities for our customers, who include the US Government. The right candidate must be willing to be a team driver, operate in 48 states in all conditions and be out 5-7 weeks between home time. Our Terminal is located in Denver CO, there are some yards throughout the United States, but drivers are responsible to take truck and trailer with them for scheduled home time.
You must have more than 3 years of safe driving experience, a clean criminal background and excellent credit. Prior Military STRONGLY Encouraged!
Requirements:
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 3 years of OTR experience or 300,000 miles OTR
- Ability to pass a Background Check
- Good Credit (Required for Government Clearance)
- Safe Driving Record (Subject to Safety Dept. Approval)
- Ability to drive Automatic or 18 speed Transmission
- Travel in all 48 states for 5-7 weeks between home times
- Must be able to Chain, Drive in the Mountains, and Drive in Inclement Weather
