Professional Land Surveyor and/or Field to Finish Party Chief requirements:

- Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Perform Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys & Construction Staking.
- Ability to communicate with members of the general public as well as coworkers.
- Follow instructions/work orders from project managers.
- 5-10 years of land surveying experience in all aspects of surveying and types of surveys.
- Proficiency with Trimble GPS, Trimble Robotic Total Station (S6/S7), Trimble (TSC7) and Data Collector.
- Construction layout, ability to read and comprehend Construction Plans.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to organize field notes and execute field staking.
- Strong verbal/communication skills and computer skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in sometimes physically demanding conditions.
- Utilize and maintain all necessary equipment properly.
- Ability to lift and transport 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Maintain and adhere to QA/QC procedures/note taking and maintaining office and field project material.
- Perform record search at recorders offices and government entities.
- Determine evidence of any previous boundaries via observation and research.
- Prepare Legal & Exhibit Descriptions.
- Prepare ALTA/NSPS Surveys.
- Prepare Survey Mapping Topographical Survey Exhibits.
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor Registered in any state
- Strong computer skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficient in Trimble Business Center.
- Business development/Marking of Survey skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely fashion, be diligent in field procedures and maintain company standards at all times.
- Travel to job sites in a timely and responsible fashion.
- Precise and detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strive for excellence, representing the company well at all times.
