We are seeking an engaged, full-time Clinical Application Specialist to join our in-house IT team. Our perfect candidate would have prior experience vetting, implementing and fully supporting an in house EHR. The candidate must be able to interact well with a variety of providers across the organization and train on systems and processes within the EHR. The candidate will have experience developing training materials and process documents for end users as well as interfacing with vendors. This person will also provide general desktop troubleshooting and support for a networked range of PCs, both on our campus and remote.
Minimum qualifications: Must have BSCS or equivalent experience and 3 years’ experience with clinical applications and desktop support. Must have experience with software selection and able to work closely with end users, vendors, and management. Able to prioritize in a fluid environment. Must have project management skills and experience with hardware and software implementation and upgrade.
Preferred qualifications: Experience working in non-profit environment. Prefer 2 years’ experience implementing electronic medical records and/or practice management system with experience providing support and training to users. Experience in eClinical Works a plus.
