Seaview Orthopaedic and Medical Associates is looking for individuals that are fast learners can multi-task and has exceptional customer service skills. Job requirements consist of:
- Welcomes patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answering of phones
- Responding to Actions, Incoming Documents, Emails, and Voice mail in a timely manner.
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
- Updating of physican’s schedules three days in advance plus add ons.
- Obtaining and entry of all patient referrals.
- Obtain revenue by collecting and recording patient copays and account balances.
- Checking In/Out of all patients.
- Scheduling/Rescheduling of all new and follow up appointments.
- Completion of patient/insurance disability forms.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the patient waiting area.
- Assisting in other areas of the clinical department if needed.
- Process requests for records to outside physicians and patients.
- File laboratory documents, X-rays, Diagnostic reports, and any other information into patient charts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical records.
- Insure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel between offices as needed.
- Available for overtime needs.
