Who Are We?
SPEECH, Inc., a dynamic, evidenced based San Francisco and Piedmont/Oakland pediatric private practice is looking for a part or full time SLP in Oakland. We have been providing state of the art effective therapy in the Bay Area for over 25 years.
How We Help
Clients are seen in the clinic via 1:1 sessions which exception of small social/pragmatic groups. Speech sessions range in length from 30 to 120 minutes. All goals and sessions are highly individualized with objective criteria. S.L.P.’s have small client caseloads. Therapists work in a very collaborative model in which many client cases are shared.
About Our S.L.P.’s
There are 17 S.L.P.’s in the San Francisco office and 5 in the Piedmont/Oakland clinic. Materials and ideas are exchanged regularly. All staff is invited to invited to attend scheduled S.L. P. conducted educational meetings. All of our staff receive ongoing mentoring, training and support.
Who We Help
Our practice sees clients diagnosed with language and articulation disorders/delays, oral motor difficulties, auditory processing differences, motor speech issues, early intervention, reading and writing challenges, A.S.D., A.A.C. needs, neurogenic differences, fluency, feeding and swallowing needs. We are fortunate to be able to see children from 16 months to 21 years of age. Our therapy rooms are stocked with all a therapist could need to provide an enriching and interactive session. We conduct home and school visits as well as quarterly parent meetings. SPEECH, Inc. therapists offer parent/caregiver trainings and home programs. We write short term data based goals and objectives. S.L.P. billing and narrative report responsibility is minimal.
