Clinical Research Coordinator/Assistant (los gatos)

Los Gatos medical practice is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator/Assistant. This position is 4-days per week (Monday -Thursday) and could include some evenings and weekends.

The position requires a detail oriented professional who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for some who is self-motivated, a problem solver and has a friendly and courteous personality.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to: pre-screening patients to participate in clinical trials in accordance with trial protocols and schedules initial screening appointments. Drawing blood, collecting and documenting and from subject. Following up with the physician, insurance carriers and other study professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

Must be a Medical Assistant, LVN or Phlebotomist with experience drawing blood.

Must be able to follow study protocol.

Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Will be set up exam room for specific procedure as indicated.

Help to monitor the physician’s schedule to maintain timely flow.

Previous clinical research experience preferred

Completion of a medical assistant, LVN or phlebotomist certificate program.
