Technical Business Analyst – Patientco – Atlanta, GA

As the Technical Business Analyst you will support our implementations team and be responsible for translating external and internal client requirements into technical specifications for our engineering team. You will test and validate the technical specifications, and you will review client business processes to determine how to best configure the Patientco System into our clients’ business that minimizes workflow changes and/or improves client workflows. You will work with teams across the business from Sales, Account Management, Development, Product and Customer Operations.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, IT or Management)
  • 4+ years of experience in a business analyst role in a software company (working with requirements preferred)
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects required
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project & Visio)
  • 2+ years managing projects for internal teams as well as external clients
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (including ability to write queries, understand logic flows, and basic object oriented programming).
  • Knowledge of revenue-cycle processes & applications, including billing, coding and reimbursement methodologies strongly preferred
  • Iterative development methodologies such as Agile strongly preferred

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Understanding and facilitating the needs and negotiation of requirements among multiple stakeholders
  • Translating business objectives established by clients into holistic digital technology, change management and organization strategies
  • Developing innovative answers to complex business and IT challenges for our Revenue Cycle Teams
  • Identifying the current and future business processes for client implementations
  • Creating, analyzing and validating detailed functional specifications
  • Diagnosing and leveraging business processes and analytics to determine how clients can seize new opportunities
  • Recommending and implementing changes and ensure a successful transition to what is new for the clients & internal teams
  • Working with development to review all required documentation, feedback and ensure all issues related to the requirements are resolved in a timely manner
  • Executing acceptance testing of requirements and analyzing results prior to roll out to clients/customers
  • Performing Full Delivery Project Cycle from kick-off to go-live
  • Indirectly managing and influencing the internal and client project teams
  • Preparing & developing presentations for clients in writing and in-person
  • Translating technical issues & troubleshooting into a client facing simple format
