Dental Assistant Needed (Burien)

We are looking a Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. Job responsibilities are outlined below. We are looking for an individual who is fun-loving, light hearted, and willing to learn new techniques and technologies. You will be joined a great team that is supportive of each other, positive, take great pride in providing quality dental care to our community. Must have an eye for detail, good attitude, and an honest work ethic.

Job roles and responsibility includes:
Instrument set up (see Instrument Set-up Checklist)
Assisting dentist during full range of procedures
Digital Radiographs
Independent sealants
Alginate Impressions
Packing Cord and Crown Provisionals
Polishing & Flossing
Update medical history and take vital signs prior to invasive procedures
Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment
Providing patients instructions for oral care following procedures (post op inst)
Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Basic office cleaning , taking out trash
Proficient in Dentrix charting and appt book ( can train if necessary)
Sterilization
Supply inventory and stocking
