Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, performs the duties of a second assistant in surgical procedures.
Education: Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology Program.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: CPR certification.
Work Experience: 0 – 6 months related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of aseptic technique. Ability to prepare and maintain a sterile field. Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation.
