Shift Information: Day Job Days Nephrology PRN/On-Call Mon-Fri, Day Shift Provides specialized nursing care to individuals and groups requiring knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs nursing care for individuals/groups of patients, with a family centered care focus. Qualifications:. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.. BSN required or must obtain BSN within 5 years from date of hire.. Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required.. PALS is required for all RNs assigned to acute care units.. PALS, ACLS, TNCC and/or NRP is required for critical care areas, ED, Surgical Services, Sedation Services, Transitional Care/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and Transport within one year of hire.
