Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center, Thousand Oaks is currently seeking an internist to join our growing team. We are a medium sized, privately owned practice in Southern California.
As relatively new owners of an established referral practice, we are grateful the community has embraced us, and now we need a fourth Internal Medicine Specialist. As a rapidly growing, independently owned emergency and specialty practice, we are looking for a collaborative team member interested in building relationships with primary care veterinarians as a means to provide care to more patients and their families. With many practices in California to choose from, here are a few reasons to consider us:
We are medium sized – Cardiology, Dentistry, ER/CC, Internal Medicine, and Surgery – big enough for steady caseload, small enough to get to know your clients.
We’re innovative – fully stocked interventional radiology suite, new Olympic endoscopy tower with a full range of HD scopes, laparoscopy tower, advanced imaging including fluoroscopy and CT, Toshiba ultrasound, full in house laboratory including I-STAT, coagulation profiles and blood gases, long-term mechanical ventilation, and more. Our practice philosophy is based on providing responsive, progressive, and appropriate care with thorough work-ups and compassionately educating clients about their pet’s treatment options.
