Scientist/Senior Scientist – Immuno-oncology – 3T Biosciences – Menlo Park, CA

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generating, handling, and analyzing workflows pertaining to tumor dissociation and tumor immune profiling (PCR, FACS, DNA/RNA sample processing)

• Developing and performing assays pertaining to T cell activation, tumor cell killing, and off-target toxicity studies (ELISA, flow cytometry)

• Developing and analyzing studies using adoptive T cell transfer in patient-derived tumor xenograft mouse models

• Interfacing with a team of computational and experimental biologists to aid in experimental and computational designs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctoral (PhD) degree or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant experience (industry experience preferred).

• Experience working with human or mouse tumor specimens/mouse models

• Experience in molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, PCR, ELISA) and cellular immunology techniques (cell killing assays, immunoprofiling by flow cytometry, cytokine secretion assays)

• Knowledge in immunology (T cell biology) and oncology (tumor models, cancer types and lines of therapy)

• Self-motivated and a proactive thinker – can work independently and in teams

• Excellent written and communication skills presenting scientific data
