Physician: New Pediatric Hospitalist program starting in Stockton, CA

A hospital in Stockton, California is looking to start a pediatric hospitalist program. The shifts will be 12 hours and a mix of day and night shifts and in a block schedule. (7 days on, 7 days off) This group is looking to add a total of 4 pediatric hospitalists to cover the well baby nursery, 12 bed pediatric inpatient floor and ER consults. There is also teaching required to family practice and ER residents. The position is employed, offering a base salary of $200,000 and relocation assistance.
