Title: Healthcare Implementation Specialist
Location: New York, NY (Lower Manhattan)
Hourly: $30 – $38/hour | TEMP-TO-PERM after 3 months
Based in Lower Manhattan, New York, we are a national insurance company specializing in the administration of medical benefits in the healthcare industry. Since our establishment in 2010, our company has experience significant demand in our products and services.
What You Will Be Doing
– Assist in the implementation and on boarding process of new clients
– Make Medical / Rx benefit changes for existing clients, using existing software platforms and solutions
– Implement new clients according to standard operating procedures
– Plan implementation timelines and milestones
– Track progress, monitor, communicate project status regularly, and resolve issues related to implementation
– Evaluate client needs, develop configurations supporting business processes
– Define and execute on delivery and implementation plans
– Test and troubleshoot final system setups
– Provide client support during and after the implementation process
What You Need for this Position
– Experience working with EDI files – 834 eligibility
– Experience working in a team environment
– Excellent written and oral communications skills
– Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service focus
– Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
– Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and Outlook experience
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
Bonuses (NOT REQUIRED):
– Familiarity with the “ISSI MX” claims processing application
– Familiarity with “Wage Parity” compliance
– Medical terminology and insurance related experience
– Project management experience
