Description:
Providence is calling a Dietitian (Food and Nutrition, Days and Evenings, Supplemental) to Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
- Assess nutrition needs and identify nutrient requirements of patients.
- Provide individual and group diet counseling sessions.
- Partner with nurses and primary physicians to provide dietary recommendations and education for patients and families.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics
- Current registration or registry-eligible with American Dietetic Association
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Current Dietitian certification in Washington State
- Clinical dietitian experience in a hospital setting
- Completion of Dietetics Education Program approved by American Dietetic Association (ADA)
