Clinical Lab Scientist Lead

Description Under the direction of the laboratory manager and/or supervisor, coordinates and manages the day to day operations of their specific section(s) and shift(s).
Monitors and evaluates new procedures, instrumentation, quality control, and reagents.
Assists in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that meet the standards of regulatory agencies.
Assists in the development of service quality improvements.
Orients and develops personnel competencies for their section(s).
Requirements A.
EDUCATION: Must have a baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or physical science.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least three (3) years experience as a Medical Technologist.
One (1) year full time primary experience in the specific section of responsibility.
C. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must possess or provide proof of certification eligibility for MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA). Category: Healthcare, Keywords: Medical Technologist (MT)
