Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job | Southeast Alabama – Close to the Florida Coast
Details/Requirements:
–Start date needed: ASAP and ongoing coverage needed through 2019
–PA or NP requested to support an employed CV Surgeon with rounding in the hospital on post-operative patients (2-3 hours per day) and be available to assist in regularly scheduled and emergency surgical procedures.
–Endoscopic vein harvesting is the primary surgical procedural skill needed for the advanced practitioner who fills this position.
–Scheduled clinical hours plus some call.
–Call response required time: 30 minutes
–Average call numbers per 24 hours: Phone consults are 2-3; Patients seen are between 3-5; Admissions are between 1-2
