One of the fastest growing telecommunications companies in the Lansing market is looking to add a technician to their team as soon as possible..
They have taken over the off campus student housing and are looking for experienced technicians to help with their continued growth.
They are looking for technicians with experience pulling and terminating low voltage cables within a commercial environment. The ideal candidate would own all of their basic hand tools and be confident with data cabling color codes. This could involve some service work as well. Someone that has experience running and terminating fiber optics for commercial projects is a plus.
The environment is team oriented and they are very flexible with technicians and teaching them the ropes to get up to speed.
This is a standard first shift Monday – Friday role!
Top 3 skills:
- Pulling and terminating Cat5, Cat6, and fiber within a commercial environment
- Proficient with all basic hand tools and owns their own set
- Service experience with commercial and residential customers
