Eastside Surgery Center is an established and growing Ambulatory Surgical Center! We are looking for a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Technician. This person should share our passion for helping people and providing excellent outpatient care to our patients.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
• High School Diploma (required)
• Certificate of completion of a surgical technician program (required)
• Registered as a Surgical Technologist with the State of Washington (required)
• Surgical Technologist Certification (required)
EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

• Serve in the primary scrub role during assigned core procedures
• Coordinate equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to the surgeon’s preference cards
• Assist team member with positioning, moving and transporting patients
• Assist with preparation and draping of patient
• Function competently within multiple specialty areas and serves in a flexible scrub role with minimal notice
• Alternate with other staff to work as sterile to processing technician

EXPERIENCE:
• One-year of experience as a surgical technician (preferred)
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic candidate that is excited to come to work and be a part of this fast-growing surgery center. This person would be working equally as a central sterilization technician and a primary scrub technician for our busy ASC.
