Our faith-based, nonprofit organization has served clients in West Central Pennsylvania for more than 70 years. We currently employ more than 500 direct service, supervisory and management staff throughout eight counties: Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset.

The Lutheran Home at Johnstown has an opening for a full time Staff Development/Quality Coordinator RN. Duties include:

  • Plans, organizes, develops, and coordinates staff educational programs and is responsible for Quality Review and Improvement Plans.
  • Manages nursing schedules, orientation, admissions/case management, and will act as the back-up to the DON.
  • The position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator.
  • The position works Monday through Friday with flexibility to work Manager on Duty weekend rotations and to cover shifts if necessary.


  • Current PA RN license and two years of experience in a long term care or other related healthcare center are required.
