Mission Logistics Coordinator (downtown / civic / van ness)

This position is a part of a non-profit organization that sends out medical and dental personnel to various countries where the oral surgeons operate on children with cleft palates. The coordinator will have the following responsibilities: coordinate volunteer teams and mission site location logistics, communicate organization’s protocols and pre-mission details, works with the in-country hosts for team and mission logistics planning pre and post mission, and works with the CEO to prepare letters of understanding. Candidate will have a choice of working 4 to 5 days each week (Monday to Friday) from five to eight hours each day. Speaking English is required and Spanish is a plus. Must have excellent conversational and telephone skills. Planning and organizational skills are required. The hourly wage is from $25.00 to $40.00 depending upon experience
